When you live 100% in the present moment, you will have 100% confidence. Living in the present allows you to let go of the past and create a future filled with the things you want. You can’t be completely confident if you’re stuck in the past, especially when you see a bunch of negative situations from the past. Self-confidence requires a completely present-tense mindset, forgetting the past, aiming for the future you want, and moving forward powerfully in the present to get what you want.

5. Be kind to yourself

If we want to be more confident in ourselves, we must be kind to ourselves. This may sound a bit strange, isn’t a confident person supposed to be strong? But in fact, true strength is being able to love yourself in difficult times.
